We’re working with NSW Health to help improve the way waste is dealt with in healthcare settings.
Phase 1, the feasibility study is now complete. Phase 2, the proof of concept, will see SureWaste brought to life and a pilot scale system deployed in 2025.
The system we propose uses modular bins that employ artificial intelligence to only accept waste of a particular stream.
An essential part of the project is consultation with the stakeholders. We need to understand how to make waste disposal easier for all healthcare staff and at the same time better for the environment.
