Supporting STEM in the Hunter

Advitech continues to drive STEM in the Hunter. We were proud to participate in the worlds largest Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) Competition – the 2017 Hunter F1 in Schools™ Regional Finals.

Advitech’s Design Manager, Graeme Hill, was selected as an Engineering Judge. He evaluated the engineering design process, assessing each team’s use of CAD/CAM, CNC technologies and quality of manufacture.

The World Finals will be held later this month at the Malaysian Grand Prix where Australia holds the world record for the fastest car.
